bytten COVID-19 Update & USPS Shipping Delays


 

Our COVID-19 Update

To our bytten family,

While we are an online-only business, we do have some COVID-19 updates and logistical notes to share with you. These decisions have all been made to prioritize the safety of our team, community, and customers.

In order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are all working from home. Luckily our products are small, so even order fulfillment is easy to do from our home studio. We are washing our hands and sanitizing our workspaces obsessively, and we are cleaning and quarantining all incoming packages (e.g., shipping supplies) according to CDC guidelines.

Our processing times are typically between one and three business days, but we are experiencing some minor delays due to our new work from home "arrangements"... and well, you know the rest. Processing times are now between 2 and 4 business days. We are doing our best to speed that up (and are usually still in the 1-2 day timeframe for in-stock orders) but please be patient during this time.

We have added additional orders to our engraving schedule, and are often processing engraved orders every Monday. It is best to assume we are still on a bi-monthly schedule for engraving; if anything changes there we will let you know and please email support@bytten.com for more info.

USPS Shipping Delay Alert

Note that USPS is experiencing systemwide and unprecedented delays. Here is the notice posted on USPS.com:

ALERT: USPS IS EXPERIENCING UNPRECEDENTED VOLUME INCREASES AND LIMITED EMPLOYEE AVAILABILITY DUE TO THE IMPACTS OF COVID-19. WE APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE AND REMAIN COMMITTED TO DELIVERING THE HOLIDAYS TO YOU.

We are in close contact with a Supervisor at our local distribution center who has assured us that your packages will be delivered (eventually) and has asked us to please be patient as they work through their backlog. We know how hard it is to wait; even if we process your order immediately, these delays are out of our control. Note that we are not able to take responsibility for lost or delayed packages due to carrier (e.g. USPS) issues.
